Sustainable Pricing
Aligning your business objectives with a clear customer perspective to formulate an improved pricing strategy
1st & 2nd December 2008
Prince Hotel & Residence, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Proudly supported by International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Marcus Evans invites you to attend the Sustainable Pricing Conference 2008. Nowadays, consumers have many varieties and are generally willing to scout around to receive the best price. Businesses considering to provide outstanding product value and customer service must also look into a competitive pricing strategy to stand above the competition.
According to a 2006 Gartner Research report, a 1% improvement in price averagely translated to an 11% increase in profitability. On the other hand, a 1% improvement in fixed costs or in variable costs only increases profitability by 3% and 7%, respectively. However, in the actual world, companies have become more concerned with the rising costs than prices of their products when it comes to calculating profits. Companies find themselves spending less than 10% of their time on pricing than on costing and product planning.
This 2 day course will enable participants to look at strategic insights and in-depth processes on how to strengthen a tried-and-tested pricing strategy to be even price competitive and profitable at the same time.
